Vulnerable Leadership Workshop

This workshop for leaders is an invitation to redefine yourself as a leader. It is an invitation to a deeper level of authentic leadership.

As leaders, we face the daily dilemma of being a good role model while facing our own doubts. There is an ever-decreasing availability to be human and ask for support. It is often easier to show a masked version of ourselves rather than be authentic. This workshop is designed specifically to be a safe place to work through vulnerabilities and fears.

Authentic leadership requires people to be inspired by you but also to be able to relate to you. The leaders who inspire us the most are the ones that have faced similar fears to our own and go on to accomplish great things.

We get inspired by work that we are passionate about and that is usually personal to us in some way. However, the more important and personal it is to us, the more vulnerable we feel and then we can react to this vulnerability in predictable ways. Given that a majority of workplace issues stem from relational issues, being in our leadership masks not only exacerbates workplace challenges but could alienate staff, vendors and clients.

This workshop will be a personal journey into vulnerability and deals primarily with the leadership dilemma that underlies the psychological drama of our daily work lives. You will work with your internal map of the dynamics of the leadership defense system. This can be a life-altering moment. This is an empowering, experiential workshop that incorporates all aspects of benchmark adult education.

We are able to do intact work teams or an annual open workshop for leaders from any organization.
